Privacy policy
Short version: everything you enter stays on your device. There are no accounts, no adverts, no analytics and no tracking, and we never see your training data.
What you enter, and where it is kept
The app stores the following in your browser’s storage on your device only:
- sessions you log: exercises, weights, reps, sets, times and session notes
- your routines, routine edits and paused exercises
- bodyweight entries and weigh-ins, body measurements, your weight goal and barbell weight, if you add them
- progress photos, if you add them (see below)
- settings, missed-day marks, awards you have been shown and personal bests
- automatic safety snapshots of the above, kept in separate storage on the same device
- which plan you are on (Free or Pro)
This information is not sent to us or to anyone else. We have no server that receives it and no way to see it. Bodyweight can count as health information; it is handled the same way: on your device only.
Information we do not collect
We don’t ask for your name, email address, date of birth or location. The app has no sign-in, uses no advertising or analytics tools, sets no tracking cookies and does not build a profile of you.
Connections the app makes
- Hosting. The app’s files, including the 3D body model, are downloaded from our web host, and the app checks the host for updates when it opens. Like any website, the host receives your IP address and basic device information to deliver these files and may keep short-lived server logs for security and reliability. None of your training data is included.
- Fonts. The app’s typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address and browser information when it delivers them. See Google’s privacy policy for how it handles this.
After the first load, the app’s files and the 3D model are cached on your device so it works offline.
AI import and AI check-in
Importing a routine and the AI check-in never send anything from the app. You copy a prompt, paste it into an AI service of your choice, and paste the reply back. The check-in prompt contains a summary of your training (lifts, sessions, sets per muscle, bodyweight, recovery estimates and any session notes) but no name, email or other identifying details. You can read it in full before copying it. Anything you type into that service is covered by that service’s own terms and privacy policy, not ours, so think before sharing health details there.
Progress photos
Progress photos are reduced in size on your device and stored in your browser’s storage on that device only. They are never uploaded, never synced and never included in backup files or exports, so we cannot see or recover them. Thumbnails are blurred until tapped unless you turn that off. Deleting a photo, or erasing all data, removes it from the device. If you delete the app or clear your browser data, your photos are deleted too. Save any you want to keep elsewhere yourself.
Backups, exports and share cards
When you save a backup, export a CSV or share a session picture, a file is created on your device or passed to the share sheet, and goes wherever you choose to send it. Keep backup files somewhere safe, as they contain your training history.
Payments
This version takes no payments. When paid plans launch, payments will be handled by the app store or a payment provider, who will process your payment details under their own privacy policy; we will update this policy before then.
How long data is kept, and deleting it
Your data stays on your device until you delete it. You can erase everything at any time from More → Start over → Erase all data on this device, or by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings or removing the app. Once erased it cannot be recovered unless you kept a backup file.
Security
Your data is protected by your device’s own security: its lock screen, encryption and browser protections. Anyone who can unlock your device and open the app can see your data, and backup files are not encrypted, so store them with care.
Children
MyoFibre is not intended for children under 16.
Your rights
Because your data is held on your device, you can view, correct, export and delete it yourself at any time using the app. Depending on where you live you may have further rights under data protection laws such as the UK GDPR or the EU GDPR, including the right to complain to your local data protection authority. For any privacy question, contact support@myofibre.com.
Changes
We will update this policy when the app changes how it handles data (for example, if accounts or cloud sync are added) and show the date of the latest version at the top.
